Donate to the Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League

We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit rescue organization which works in conjunction with the HSV Property Owners Association Animal Shelter. Our mission is to place all rescued/surrendered adoptable companion animals into loving homes and to prevent the overpopulation of unwanted animals.

Hot Springs Village Animal Welfare League Funds & More

Angel Fund

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

Angel Fund provides financial aid for emergency vet care to pet owners who cannot afford necessary veterinary care. The fund has been receiving increasing requests because of our prominent spay/neuter effort and our work with the community animals.

Community Animals

image115

Since POA Animal Control can only take in animals from within the Village boundaries, HSVAWL will occasionally help with animals in need from the community surrounding Hot Springs Village. This might include strays located at the east or west gates, feral cats with kittens, animals from our veterinarians, or other special situations. Community animals are treated the same as those coming from Animal Control where HSVAWL gets them ready for adoption and finds them loving homes.

Spay & Neuter Fund

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

This fund is used to underwrite the expenses incurred at our low-cost Spay and Neuter Clinics and voucher program that serve low-income families in our surrounding communities

Building Fund

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

This fund was used to cover the expenses we incurred for the expansion of the HSVAWL Animal Shelter. We maintain this fund to cover the expense of any additional equipment needed at the shelter to provide the best care for our animals.

Memorials

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

The memorial fund is to honor a special person or pet (living or deceased). The honored person/pet or their family is notified of the donation if an address is provided. For memorials of $50 or more, a digital plaque with the named person/pet is included on the HSVAWL Adoption Center memorial display.

HUG (Help Us Go)

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

Special Paws

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

Helps fund special needs pets. Sometimes animals come into our care that may have ongoing medical or other needs that if met, will allow them to be healthy, happy, and provide years of joy to their families. If eligible, Special Paws can help make sure that happens.

Silver Paws

Animal Welfare League of Hot Springs Village, HSVAWL, Dog Cat Shelter, No Kill Animal Shelter

Helps fund older pets. Senior pets also come into our care occasionally. They too may have ongoing medical or other needs that if met, will allow them to live longer and happier lives. Silver Paws can help them find the right family that will care for them for the rest of their lives.
